With the technically sophisticated hologram effect, our dies create a fascinating, light-dependent color effect on shiny coins or medals during the minting process. The effect is created by the interaction of light with the finest, specially designed surface structures - based on so-called interference technology. Our favorite example is the Betta fish minting die: the hologram effect is particularly impressive on its minting surface - the targeted control of the surface structure makes the play of light seem almost alive.

To mark the 175th anniversary of Swiss Post, we had the pleasure of minting two outstanding stamp medals. Both the fine silver medal in 60 x 47 mm format and the fine gold medal in 28 x 22 mm format feature a perforation on the edge of the object in the style of a postage stamp and, as a privy mark, a fine alternating image minting.
